The first time I found these in the unmarked bin at my rock store, I could not believe my luck. I picked up 3 pieces that were very dirty so you had to look closely to see what was hiding underneath.

I took them home and soaked them overnight and I was definitely not disappointed.

All 3 looked very different and from this moment on, I would say my obsession with crazy lace started.

I call this one the rainbow lace. I still have some parts that need to be completed. I also tried different preservation materials (in lieu of complete polish). There is one tumbled piece as well.

This was the absolute show stopper! I just could not believe my luck. I cut each of the edges off and tumbled some parts and polished others. This was back when I was still using my buffer to polish. I absolutely loved the cube that was left so I used my flat lap to polish up the 4 sides. Such a beautiful rock.
